I offer a bespoke service for anyone looking to purchase property in Scotland. It is designed for anyone unfamiliar with the Scottish system, with a particular focus on those interested in crofting.

I can provide any or all of the following;​

​

• an explanation of the the process to demystify and provide an overview;​

• assist with your specific property search and requirements; ​

• carry out title due diligence once a property has been identified and providing a detailed report thereon;​

• assist with the negotiation strategy;​

• assist with the selection of a solicitor for the conveyance, to include a price comparison service;

• provide details of the actual costs involved;

• prepare the assignation application and accompanying croft boundary application; 

• ​oversee the transaction from the outset to settlement.

The aim is not to duplicate the work of any other professional but provide a focal point in what is a fractured and stressful process. 

 

​​In an environment where time is of the essence any briefing note, due diligence report and/or croft related application instructed shall be be prepared and issued as quickly as possible.

 

The entire process is carried out by email and no VAT is charged.
